Meeting changes due to COVID-19
(last updated 10am 8/29/2020):

MONDAY:

  • The Welcome Home Group 5:30pm AA Meeting is meeting at The Club until further notice

TUESDAY:

  • The Welcome Home Group 5:30pm AA Meeting is meeting at The Club until further notice
  • Clean Air Group 8pm AA Meeting canceled

WEDNESDAY:

  • All Harrisonburg Group AA meetings at The Club are now mask-required meetings. The Harrisonburg Group meets at Noon on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; and at 7pm on Thursdays.
  • The Wednesday night Women’s AA meeting at 5:30pm at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church is now known as the Safe Harbor women’s meeting. It is still a literature meeting. We also require masks. Our meetings resume once again on Wednesday August 5.
  • The 7pm Open Door AA Meeting at The Club is now mask optional meeting.

THURSDAY:

  • The Serenity Sisters AA meeting at 5:30pm on Thursdays at the club is now a mask required meeting.
  • All Harrisonburg Group AA meetings at The Club are now mask required meetings. The Harrisonburg Group meets at Noon on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; and at 7pm on Thursdays.
  • Thursday 7pm Online AA Meeting continues to meet for near future (for details, see announcement posted here)
  • Harrisonburg Fellowship Group AA Meeting is resuming its meetings at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, but at the new start time of 7:30 pm on Thursdays (instead of 8pm previously). Its meetings are also mask-required.

FRIDAY:

  • The Welcome Home Group 5:30pm AA Meeting is meeting at The Club until further notice

SATURDAY:

  • All Harrisonburg Group AA meetings at The Club are now mask required meetings. The Harrisonburg Group meets at Noon on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; and at 7pm on Thursdays.
  • The Recovery Group Saturday night 7:00 pm meeting requires a mask as well.

SUNDAY:

  • The Serenity Group, Massanetta Springs, online meeting is Sundays at 11 am. The Zoom number is 874 841 703. Please contact Walter for the password at 540-742-5133. The Massanetta Springs camp is closed indefinitely, this means that the Serenity Group which meets there will meet online indefinitely as well.
  • The Noon Open Door AA Meeting at The Club is now mask optional meeting.

The Welcome Home Group will resume ALL meetings (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays) at 5:30 pm at The Club (120 Waterman Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22802) starting July 7th. The Recovery Group and the Harrisonburg Group are both resuming all their meetings at The Club.

Why Try AA?

Yes, there is a substitute and it is vastly more than that. It is a fellowship in Alcoholics Anonymous. There you will find release from care, boredom, and worry. Your imagination will be fired.
